ONE DISH MEAL | |
1 1/2 lb. ground beef 1 med. onion, chopped 1/2 c. green onion tops 1/2 c. parsley 1/3 c. green pepper 4 tbsp. salad oil 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. red pepper 1 can tomato sauce 1 can peas and carrots Saute onion tops, onions, parsley, and green pepper in salad oil. Add seasoned ground beef. Cook 30 minutes. Add tomato sauce and cook 15 minutes longer. Add peas and carrots and cook 10 minutes more. Line casserole with cooked rice. Pour meat and vegetable mixture over rice. Garnish with carrots and parsley. |
