ASPARAGUS TOMATO SKILLET 
3 slices bacon
1/4 c. sliced onion
3 tbsp. vinegar
1 tbsp. water
2 tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 lbs. fresh asparagus, cut in 1 1/2" pieces (3 c.)
2 med. tomatoes, cut in eighths

Cook bacon until crisp; drain and crumble. Add onion to bacon fat, cook until tender. Add bacon, vinegar, water, sugar and salt. Bring to boiling. Add asparagus. Cover and cook 5 minutes. Add tomato, cover and cook 3 to 5 minutes. Serves 6.
