3/4 lb. butter (3 sticks)
1 egg
3 1/5 c. flour
1 c. sugar

Mix butter, sugar, and egg. Add flour and blend well. Use cookie press or chill and cut into slices. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes, or when lightly brown around edges. Makes about 4 dozen.
