SUMMER SALAD 
1 lg. head cabbage, chopped fine
2 cucumbers sliced thin
4 carrots, grated
2 green peppers, sliced thin
1 onion, chopped fine

Heat one cup of water 1/2 cup sugar until sugar melts. Take off heat, add 3/4 cup salad oil, 1 tablespoon salt and 1/2 cup vinegar.

Pour over salad and mix. Put salad in refrigerator for about an hour or longer. Mix and serve. Delicious.
