GLAZED LEMON BREAD | |
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1/3 cup melted butter 1 cup sugar 2 eggs 1/4 tsp. almond extract 1/2 cup milk 2 tsp. lemon extract 1 1/2 tsp. real lemon juice 2 tbsp. sugar Combine flour, baking powder and salt in mixing bowl. In another bowl, stir together melted butter, 1 cup sugar, eggs and almond extract. Add flour mixture and milk alternately to sugar mixture. Add lemon extract. Pour into greased and floured loaf pan. Bake at 350°F for 55 to 60 minutes. |
