CREOLE PECAN PIE 
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, room temperature

In mixing bowl, cream above with slotted spoon. Add:

3 whole eggs

Mix well. Add:

1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix well. Pour into uncooked deep-dish pie crust. In another pan mix the following:

1 c. dark Karo
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 whole egg
1 c. chopped pecans

Stir well and pour over cream cheese layer. Garnish the entire top with pecan halves. Bake in 350 degree oven until firm.
