FRIED CORN 
6 ears of corn
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. water
4 strips bacon or salt pork
1 tsp. pepper
1 tbsp. flour

Fry salt pork or bacon; reserve drippings. Cook in Dutch oven or wok. Add corn, salt, pepper, sugar, and flour; mix until smooth. Add water and cook under low heat for 20 minutes or until tender, stirring occasionally.
