TURNIP CHEESE BAKE 
1 1/2 lbs. turnips, thickly sliced
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1/2 c. sharp American cheese
Parsley and paprika

Cook turnips in boiling salted water until tender. Melt butter, blend in flour, salt and dash of pepper. Add milk all at once. Cook until thickened. Stir in cheese until melted. Combine cooked, drained turnips and cheese sauce in 1-quart casserole. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes, or until top is bubbly. Sprinkle with parsley flakes and paprika.
