JEWISH APPLE CAKE 
1 c. oil
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking powder
4 apples, thinly sliced

Beat eggs well. Add sugar and oil. Mix well. Combine flour, cinnamon and baking powder. Add to mixture; mix well. Add vanilla. Fold in apples and nuts. Bake in angel food pan. Sprinkle with topping. Bake until done at 350 degrees for about 1 hour.

TOPPING:

2 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. chopped nuts
