"SHONEY'S" STRAWBERRY PIE 
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. water
4 c. strawberries
2 baked and cooled pie crusts
3 tbsp. cornstarch
3 oz. pkg. strawberry jello

Mix sugar and cornstarch. Add water and cook until thick and clear. Remove from heat and add strawberry jello. Stir until dissolved; cool.

Divide strawberries into pie crusts. Pour cooled custard over berries. Chill and serve topped with Cool Whip.
