2/3 c. undiluted can milk
1 2/3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
16 diced marshmallows
1 1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate bits
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Combine undiluted can milk, sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil and boil 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Add diced marshmallows, semi-sweet chocolate bits, vanilla and chopped nuts. Beat vigorously until all is melted. Pour in buttered pan. Top with chopped nuts if desired.
