SHRIMP, PASTA AND VEGETABLES | |
1 lb. vermicelli or linguine, cooked 1 lb. med. shrimp, deveined 1 head of broccoli, cut 1 sm. red pepper, sliced into strips 1 sm. green pepper, sliced into strips 1 sm. yellow pepper, sliced into strips 2 carrots, sliced 1 sm. summer squash 2 plum tomatoes Garlic powder Italian seasoning butter 1. Saute shrimp in butter and garlic powder until tender. 2. Steam broccoli, peppers, carrots and squash until tender. 3. Cut tomatoes into medium sized cubes and place in small saucepan. Add garlic powder and Italian seasoning to taste. Cook until tender and is a chunky sauce. 4. Cook vermicelli until tender. Add approximately 1/8 to 1/4 cup butter and a sprinkle of garlic powder. 5. Put pasta onto serving platter, top with steamed vegetables, then arrange shrimp on top. In center of dish add chunky tomato sauce. |
