SOUR CREAM CHILIES 
2 tbsp. oil
1 onion, chopped
1 clove garlic
6 tortillas (flour or corn)
1/2 c. oil
1 1/2 c. tomato sauce
1 tsp. oregano
6 Ortega whole chilies
1/2 lb. Jack cheese
1 pt. sour cream

Brown onions and garlic. Add tomato sauce and oregano. Cover and simmer 1/2 hour. Lightly fry tortillas in oil - until soft only. Arrange strips of cheese in peppers then roll in tortilla. Line rolled tortillas in 8 inch square pan. Add sour cream to tomato mix. Pour over tortillas. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
