SUGAR COOKIES 
2 sticks butter
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. Wesson oil
2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cream of tartar
5 c. flour

Cream together the butter, sugar, eggs, oil and vanilla. Add the flour, salt, baking soda and cream of tartar. Roll into small balls. Press with a fork dipped in sugar.

Bake at 350°F for 10 to 15 minutes.
