APPLE CRUNCH 
1 (# 303) can sliced apples
2/3 c. sugar
1/2 box cake mix (regular size) yellow, white, or spice
1 stick butter
1/2 c. chopped pecans

Empty apples into buttered 8 or 9 inch square baking dish. Sprinkle sugar over apples. Sprinkle cake mix evenly over apples. Melt butter and pour evenly over cake mix. Sprinkle pecans over butter. Bake at 350 degrees until done and crust has formed on top, about 1 hour. Serves 9.
