GRANGERS DOUGHNUTS 
4 1/2 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
3 beaten eggs
1 c. sugar
1 c. mashed potatoes
2 tbsp. shortening
3/4 c. sour milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix all ingredients together, liquids first. Then add dry ingredients. Roll out and cut with a doughnut cutter. Drop into hot grease until golden brown. Flip over and brown other side. Sprinkle with sugar.
