FRESH CRANBERRY SALAD 
1 (12 oz.) pkg. fresh cranberries, washed
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 c. boiling water
3 (3 oz.) pkgs. orange Jello
2 (11 oz.) cans mandarin oranges, drained
1 c. chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple, undrained

Grind cranberries, stir in sugar to blend. Set aside. Dissolve Jello in water, cool until mixture starts to thicken. Add to cranberry mixture. Add oranges, nuts and pineapple. Stir well. May be poured into mold, if desired. Chill overnight.
