MEAT LOAF WITH CHEESE STUFFING 
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
1/2 c. onion, finely chopped
8 oz. sharp cheese slices
1 tbsp. Worcestershire
1 1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 tbsp. prepared mustard
2 tbsp. evaporated milk
2 tbsp. ketchup
1/4 c. green pepper, finely chopped

Combine beef, eggs, bread crumbs, onions and green pepper. Add Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, mustard, milk and ketchup. Mix lightly but well. Meat will be juicier and more tender if you handle it as little as possible. Divide meat mixture into 3 equal parts into bottom of a greased loaf pan. Gently pat 1/3 of mixture. Cover with 4 overlapping cheese slices and repeat meat, cheese and meat.

Bake at 375°F for 50 minutes.
