PIE CRUST 
FOR SINGLE CRUST:

1 1/3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
3 tbsp. ice water

FOR DOUBLE CRUST:

2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. shortening
5 tbsp. ice water

Mix flour and salt. Cut in shortening until fine and crumbly. Add ice water and stir. Form ball. Roll out onto lightly floured surface and shape into pie pan. Add fillings and bake according to pie recipe.
