LEMON TEA BREAD 
3/4 c. milk
1 tbsp. chopped lemon balm
1 tbsp. chopped lemon thyme
2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
6 tbsp. butter, room temperature
1 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 tbsp. grated lemon peel

Heat the milk with chopped herbs and let steep until cool. Then cream all other ingredients together. Pour lemon glaze onto bread while hot.

LEMON GLAZE:

2 lemons of juice
1/4 c. confectioners' sugar

Mix until thick. Pour over bread while hot. Lemon balm and lemon thyme you get at a health food store.
