SOUTHERN SPOON BREAD 
2 c. milk
1 tbsp. sugar
3 eggs
2 tbsp. cold water
1 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. corn meal
3 tsp. baking powder
2 tbsp. butter

Heat milk, salt and sugar in moderate temperature. Add corn meal to the milk. Return to fire and cook until its like mush. Beat together eggs, baking powder, cold water and butter. Beat egg mixture into the mush, then pour into casserole and bake in 400 degree oven for 25-30 minutes. Serve hot by the spoonfuls.
