PEG'S STRAWBERRY TARTS 
1 qt. strawberries

CREAM FILLING:

8 oz. cream cheese
8 oz. Cool Whip
1/2 tsp. almond flavoring

GLAZE:

1 c. water
3/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. strawberry Jello
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. almond flavoring

CREAM FILLING: Beat all ingredients together at high speed until fluffy.

GLAZE: Mix together and bring to a boil until it thickens (will continue to set up as it cools). Cool on the counter before pouring onto strawberries. In baked pie shell or tarts, spread cream filling on bottom. Place strawberries on top and pour glaze over strawberries. Top with a dab of Cool Whip.
