PERSIMMON COOKIES 
1 c. pulp
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. nuts, chopped
1 c. raisins
1 egg
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. nutmeg

Mix nuts and raisins with flour and spices. Dissolve soda in the pulp. Cream butter and sugar; add beaten egg. Drop on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees until brown.
