STUFFED PEPPERS 
Clean and boil peppers in slightly salted water until they change color. Saute onion, celery, pepper scraps and a clove of garlic in a little butter. Add 1 pound hamburger and cook until it changes color. Drain.

Add 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce, cooked rice, 1/2 teaspoon cumin, 1/2 teaspoon oregano, 3 teaspoons chili powder and salt and pepper to taste. Use enough minute rice for 4 servings. Stuff peppers and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

Makes 6 large peppers or 4 peppers with stuffing leftover for fussy kids who won't eat peppers!
