HEARTY BEEF STEW 
Stew meat pieces
Crisco
6 to 8 potatoes, sliced
6 to 8 carrots, sliced
1 onion, sliced
1 tbsp. flour
2 c. beef bouillon
1 c. tomato sauce
Bay leaf
Salt and pepper

Saute meat in Crisco and flour. Add bouillon, tomato sauce, potatoes, carrots, and onions. Season with salt, pepper, and bay leaf. Simmer until done - vegetables are tender. Bisquick dumplings cooked on top complete this meal in a pot!
