BUTTERMILK RAISIN PIE 
1 1/2 c. white sugar
3 tbsp. flour
1/2 c. raisins
2 eggs
1/2 c. butter, melted
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine sugar with flour and raisins. Beat eggs and add to the sugar- flour mixture. then add the melted butter and buttermilk. Fold in the vanilla. Pour into chilled, unbaked 9 inch pie shell. Preheat oven and bake at 425 degrees for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake 35 minutes longer. After pie is cooled you may add meringue, but I don't.
