CRESCENT SLOPPY JOE SQUARES 
3/4 lb. ground beef
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 c. barbecue sauce
1/2 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
1 can crescent rolls
1 c. shredded cheddar cheese (4 oz.)
Milk
Sesame seeds

In frying pan, brown ground beef and onion; drain fat. Add barbecue sauce, salt, and pepper; simmer a few minutes. Meanwhile, grease an 8 or 9 inch square pan. Separate can of crescent dough into 2 large rectangles. Press one onto bottom of pan. Spoon hot mixture over dough. Sprinkle with cheese. Place remaining rectangle over top, separating into triangles. Brush with milk; sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake at 425 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Serves 3-4.
