SAVORY CRESCENT CHICKEN SQUARES 
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
3 tbsp. butter, melted
2 c. cooked, cubed chicken or turkey
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. milk
1 tbsp. chopped onion or chives
1 (8 oz.) can crescent or Italian crescent dinner rolls
3/4 c. seasoned croutons, crushed

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a medium bowl, blend cream cheese and butter until smooth. Add next 6 ingredients, mix well. Separate crescent dough into four rectangles, firmly press perforations to seal. Spoon one half cup meat mixture onto center of each rectangle.
