GROUND BEEF WITH SOUR CREAM
CASSEROLE
 
1 c. onions
2 tbsp. fat
1 or 2 lbs. ground beef
3 c. noodles
3 c. tomato juice
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. celery salt
Dash pepper
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 to 1/2 c. chopped green peppers
1 or 2 c. sour cream
Mushrooms, if desired

Cook onions in hot fat until tender, not brown. Add beef and brown lightly. Place noodles in layer over meat. Combine tomato juice and seasonings; pour over noodles. Bring to a boil. Cover and simmer over low heat for 20 minutes. Add green peppers. Cover and continue cooking 10 minutes until noodles are tender. Stir in sour cream and mushrooms. Heat to boiling. Season to taste.
