DATE ROLLS 
1 cube butter
2 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. chopped dates
2 c. Rice Krispies cereal
1 tsp. vanilla
Powdered sugar
Wax paper

Melt butter in iron skillet (I use electric). Beat 2 eggs well beaten with 1 cup sugar. Add 1 cup chopped nuts and 1 cup chopped dates. Mix well. Cook mixture about 10 minutes, stirring constantly, over low heat. Take from heat. Add 2 cups Rice Krispies and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Mix until well coated and blended. Cool. Spoon off onto wax paper covered with powdered sugar, forming 3 or 4 medium sized rolls. Wrap in wax paper, then aluminum foil. Will keep quite awhile in refrigerator. (Use additional powdered sugar as needed to form your rolls nicely.)
