SLOVAK CHEESE BARS 
DOUGH:

2 1/2 c. flour
1/4 c. warm milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. butter, cut thoroughly in flour
1 pkg. dry yeast
1 tsp. sugar
4 egg yolks, beaten

CHEESE FILLING:

2 (8 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese, softened
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 egg yolks

TOPPING:

1/2 c. nuts, chopped
1/2 c. sugar
4 egg whites, beaten

Combine yeast, sugar and milk and let rise. Prepare balance of dough ingredients and add yeast mixture to it. Divide in 2 parts. Roll a little more than 1/2 the dough between 2 sheets of waxed paper. Place in bottom of greased oblong baking dish. Combine filling mixture the place over bottom crust. Roll remaining dough between wax paper and place on top of cheese filling. Top this with the topping mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes.
