EASY PIZZA PIE 
3 c. biscuit mix
3/4 c. water
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
2 cloves garlic (pressed)
1/2 tsp. salt
8 oz. can tomato sauce
6 oz. can tomato paste
1 tsp. dried Italian seasoning
4 1/2 oz. jar sliced mushrooms (drained)
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
2 c. shredded mozzarella cheese (8 oz.)

Combine biscuit mix and water; stir well. Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface, and knead 20 times. Press dough into a greased 12 inch pizza pan, building up edge. Bake at 450 degrees for 4 minutes. Brown beef, onion, garlic, and salt in a large skillet; drain. Combine tomato sauce, tomato paste, and Italian seasoning; spread evenly over pizza crust, leaving a 1/2 inch border around edges. Spoon beef mixture over sauce; top with mushrooms and green pepper. Bake at 450 degrees for 5 minutes; add cheese and bake an additional 5 minutes. Yield: one 12 inch pizza.
