VINEGAR PIE CRUST 
6 tbsp. ice water
1 tbsp. vinegar
1 egg
3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 c. shortening

Beat first 3 ingredients together. Combine flour, salt, and shortening. Add liquid ingredients to flour mixture and knead. Makes 3 crusts.

This freezes well before baking. Divide into 3 parts; pat out a little to hasten thawing, but do not roll at this time. Remove from freezer about 1 1/2 hours before wanting to make pie.
