THIN VANILLA COOKIES 
4 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tbsp. vanilla

Cream butter and sugar. Beat eggs in, one at a time. Add vanilla. Sift dry ingredients together and add gradually to butter mixture. Turn out on floured board. Divide into 4 portions. Roll out to paper thinness, cut place on greased and floured cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 4 to 12 minutes until just tan on edges. Unused portion may be kept refrigerated for several months.
