GRATIN SAVOYARD POTATOES 
4 tbsp. butter
2 lbs. potatoes, pared and sliced 1/8 inch thick
1 1/2 c. shredded Swiss cheese
1 tsp. salt
Pepper
1 can beef broth

Heat oven to 400 degrees. Rub shallow baking pan with 2 tablespoons butter. Dry potatoes on paper towels.

Combine 1 cup cheese, potatoes, salt and pepper in dish. Pour boiled broth over mixture. Sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup cheese over mixture and dot with butter. Bake 40 to 45 minutes. Serves 4-6.
