ORANGE TORTE 
Grated rind of 1 lemon & 1 orange
1 c. finely chopped raisins
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. sour milk
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder

GLAZE:

3/4 c. sugar
Juice of 1/2 lemon
Juice of 1 orange

Mix rinds and raisins. Set aside. Beat shortening and sugar; add eggs; beat. Mix dry ingredients and add alternately with sour milk. Add raisins and rinds. Bake 40 minutes at 350 degrees.

Boil glaze ingredients together while cake is baking. Pour over hot cake.
