DAN JOHNSON'S NAVY BEANS 
1 (2 lb.) bag navy beans
1 lg. onion
1 1/2 lbs. lean salt pork
1 lb. bacon
1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes
1 bottle beer
4 tbsp. ketchup
1 tbsp. mustard
4 tbsp. molasses
4 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

Soak beans overnight. Saute onion, salt pork, and bacon. Mix the following: tomatoes, beef, ketchup, mustard, molasses, brown sugar and Worcestershire sauce. Layer beans, sauce, meat and onion mixture in pot. Bake at 300 degrees for 7 hours. Add beer occasionally as needed. Yummy! Serves a crowd.
