GREEN TOMATO RELISH 
1 qt. finely chopped green tomatoes
1/4 c. mustard seed
1 1/2 tbsp. salt
2 chopped onions
1 1/2 tsp. allspice
1 qt. vinegar
3 chopped red sweet peppers
2 qts. finely chopped cabbage
2 chopped green peppers
1/4 c. sugar
1 tbsp. celery seed

Drain the chopped vegetables, add the seasoned vinegar. Cook very slowly for about 30 minutes. Pack hot into pint jars and process at simmering for 15 minutes in hot water bath. This makes about 6 pints.
