SUGARED WALNUTS 
1 stick butter
2 egg whites
1 c. brown sugar
1 lb. English walnut halves

Melt butter on jelly roll pan. Beat egg whites until stiff. Gradually fold in sugar by hand. Add walnuts and stir gently until covered. Put walnuts on pan in single layer. Bake 1 hour at 250 degrees turning every 15 minutes.
