BERRY PIE 
2 c. blackberries
1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 1/4 c. water
Dash salt
Whipped topping
Spice pastry

Bake pastry shell first. Set aside. In saucepan stir together sugar, salt, cornstarch and water. Mix well. Add berries. Cook and stir until mixture is bubbly and thick. Cook 2 more minutes. Turn in pie shell and cool. Refrigerate 2 hours before serving. Garnish with whipped topping.

Blueberries, raspberries or strawberries may be substituted. You can also combine any of the berries for a double taste.
