1 c. powdered sugar
1 c. butter
2 eggs
5 c. flour
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 c. white sugar
1 c. oil
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt

Mix together thoroughly. Roll into balls the size of a walnut. Press on greased cookie sheet with a greased glass dipped in sugar for each cookie or press with a fork. Bake 10 to 12 minutes at 350 degrees until done but not brown.
