BULGAR BUNS 
3/4 c. uncooked bulgar
2 c. water
2 tbsp. yeast
1 c. warm water
1 c. scalded & cooled milk
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. melted lard
2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
Cooked bulgar
7 - 7 1/2 c. white flour

Combine bulgar and 2 cups water and simmer in covered saucepan for 20 minutes. Cool to lukewarm. Dissolve yeast in 1 cup warm water in Tupperware bowl. Add the cooked bulgar and remaining ingredients. Use electric mixer when adding the first part of the flour. Finish by hand. Knead 5 to 10 minutes until smooth. Dough is soft.

Place in greased bowl. Let rise until doubled. Shape into buns. Let rise and bake. Place on greased baking sheets. Let rise until doubled. Bake at 350 degrees for 18 to 20 minutes.

Makes 36 to 40 buns.
