SHEETCAKE BROWNIES 
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
2 sticks butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. water
1/2 c. buttermilk or sour cream
Pinch of salt
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda

Sift sugar and flour into a bowl. In a saucepan bring to a boil the water, cocoa, and butter. Add milk or sour cream, eggs, vanilla, soda, and salt. Beat for 2 minutes. Pour into a greased jelly roll pan.

Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes.

FROSTING FOR BROWNIES:

Bring 1 stick butter, 4 tablespoons cocoa, and 6 tablespoons milk or buttermilk to a boil. Remove from heat and add 1 teaspoon vanilla and 1 box powdered sugar. Make this frosting 5 minutes before the cake is done. Frost while the cake is hot. Nuts are an optional topping.
