LASAGNE 
1 lb. beef or turkey, browned
1 (30 oz.) can whole tomatoes
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
2 tsp. Italian seasoning
1 c. cottage cheese
1 egg or 2 egg whites
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
6 oz. mozzarella cheese
8 oz. lasagna noodles (raw)

Add tomatoes to browned meat. Add sauce, garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Simmer 10 minutes. Mix cottage cheese, egg and Parmesan cheese. Set aside.

Grease 9 x 13 inch pan. Add 1/3 of meat sauce just enough to rest a layer of raw noodles on. Add 1/2 of meat mixture, 1/2 of cottage cheese mixture, layer of raw noodles, rest of meat sauce, rest of cottage cheese. Add mozzarella cheese. Cover with foil. Bake 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Let stand 10 minutes before serving. Serves 6-8. Freezes well.
