ELLA'S ROLLS 
9 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 1/2 c. milk
3 slicks butter
1 1/2 cakes yeast
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. water

Measure flour, sift and set aside. Put milk, sugar, salt and butter in saucepan, heat until butter melts. Mix yeast with 2 or 3 tablespoons of flour, 2 tablespoons of sugar and 1/4 cup of water. Put in a warm place until yeast rises. Beat eggs well. Mix all ingredients together, knead dough and put in a large greased bowl. Let rise until doubled in size. Roll dough out or make the shapes as you desire. Let rise until double in size. Bake at 400 degrees until brown.
