2 c. sugar
1 pinch salt
1 c. vinegar
1 c. oil
1 tbsp. celery seed
1 tbsp. chopped onion

Boil sugar, salt, and vinegar for 1 1/2 minutes. Cool. Pour oil over cabbage. Mix in celery seed and onion.
