PRIZE DATE NUT LOAF 
2 c. sugar
1 c. Carnation canned milk
2 tbsp. butter
1 1/2 c. chopped dates
1 c. chopped pecans

Cook sugar, milk, and butter until forms soft ball in cup of cold water. Mix well with dates and nuts. Roll in damp cloth; chill until firm.
