SWEET POTATOES AND APPLES 
6 apples
3 boiled sweet potatoes
1/2 c. sugar
Butter

Grease casserole with butter. Pare, core and cut apples into thick slices. Place a layer in the dish. Cover with slices of sweet potatoes and top with apples. Sprinkle with sugar and dot with butter. Repeat until all ingredients are used. Place casserole in pan with boiling water and bake in slow oven, 325 degrees for 1 hour.
