SWEET-SOUR BEEF BALLS 
Meatballs:

1 lb. ground beef
1 egg
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. onion, chopped
pepper to taste

Sauce:

1 tbsp. oil
1 c. pineapple juice
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tbsp. soy sauce
3 tbsp. vinegar
6 tbsp. water
1/2 c. sugar

Mix together ingredients for meatballs. Brown and cook until done. Drain and set aside. Heat pineapple juice in pan on low heat for a few minutes. Mix together all other sauce ingredients and slowly add to juice. Cook until juice thickens, stirring constantly. Add cooked meatballs, 4 pineapple slices, cut into pieces and 3 large green peppers, each cut into 12 to 15 strips. Heat thoroughly.

Serves 6 to 8.

This is good served with rice or as an appetizer.
