WAIKIKI MEATBALLS 
2 lb. hamburger or ground pork
2/3 c. cracker crumbs
1/3 c. chopped onion
1 egg
1/4 tsp. ginger
1/4 c. milk

SAUCE:

1/2 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. cornstarch
Juice from 20 oz. can crushed pineapple
1/3 c. vinegar
1 tbsp. soy sauce

Combine meat, cracker crumbs, onion, egg, ginger, and milk. Form into balls and brown in frying pan. Combine sugar, cornstarch, vinegar, soy sauce, and pineapple juice. Stir until smooth, heat, and boil for 1 minute. Sprinkle crushed pineapple over meatballs and pour sauce over meat and pineapple. Simmer until heated through. Also works well in crock pot.
